Well, Mechanical Resonance, Great Radio., Psychotic Supper are 5 stars; this is nothing but 2. To be honest: I don't like it. This is not Tesla I used to listen to. I'm afraid.
Just buy the CD cause these vinyl releases are nothing more than a novelty. I have gone through three copies, and played it on 4 different cartridges and turntables and the inner groove distortion on the last track on side 2 is so bad, you can't even make anything out.
The album is AWESOME.I have the CD and this vinyl of this album. The only reason this gets one star is because the vinyl sounds horrible.
Side 1 is flawless but side 2 is a sibilant distorted mess. After having the CD I was so excited to get the record in, I set a day aside just to listen to it.
Be warned, the vinyl is a MESS. The album is great but the vinyl is a sonic disappointment. This is a problem with Disturbed's Indestructible, and Guns' Chinese Democracy.
This album is well worth the wait. The music is fresh with hints of classic Tesla. We had just seen them in concert locally and purchased the album the next day. Great riffs, lyrics, and energy.
This was a gift for my Husband and if the amount of time he plays it is anything to go by - it is great. He looked everywhere to find this album. we should of looked on Amazon first.
this album definitely brings back the tesla I love. I had the chance to see Tesla live this spring 2009 and I couldn't believe how great they're playing now. They're kicking some serious butt right now. The guitar work is amazing. I wish I could play like these guys.
